Here are the colors of the smiley faces and what each color means:
I have a sheet that I put in the students homework folders every night. I color what face they got for the day and check mark underneath the rule/rules that were broken. The parents have to initial this sheet every night. I am attaching a copy of my Weekly Behavior Report for you to use in your classroom if you wish. This method has worked great for me and I hope that it can help you too.

Thanks for sharing!! When during the day do you color the faces?
Your very welcome and thank you for sharing all of your wonderful ideas as well. I always color the faces and add homework pages to my student's binders at the end of the day. After snack time I have the children practice reading their guided readers to each other. I use this time to color the faces, etc... When I am finished I go around and listen to the children read. I have been lucky the last few years with low munbers in my classroom. Last year I was blessed with only 14 students.

Hi! thanks for the comment and becoming a follower :) I love your blog super cute. I'm your newest follower.
Thank you for sharing your weekly behavior report. I do something similar for behavior, but I use the pocketchart from Really Good Stuff that has the faces on it.

In the picture of your behavior chart I see blue or yellow rectangles by each student's smiley faces. What are these?

Yay Ms. Shope!!!! Thank you for being my 100th follower! I am so excited!!!! I am going to have a give-a-way this weekend to celebrate. :) Anonymous.... the rectangles are punch cards. If the student gets a green smiley face at the end of the day, they get a punch on their card. When they collect 10 punches they get to go the the treasure chest for a prize. Thank you for asking!
I LOVE your behavior chart! We use the stoplight clip chart but I really like this idea of being able to move them around and it's really visual.
